Steve Smith has said the support he received from Virat Kohli during their recent World Cup match was a ‘lovely gesture but insisted the crowd's booing didn’t affect his batting. During the India-Australia match on June 9, Smith faced 'cheater, cheater' chants from the Indians spectators. However, Kohli asked the fans to stop jeering at the Aussie batsman. He even apologized to Smith on behalf of the Indian fans.
