Russia's Soyuz rocket launches 1st OneWeb satellite for global internet constellation

Soyuz rocket, Russin built, sent the first 6 satellites of OneWeb's broadband data constellation into orbit today, in order to make high-speed internet connections available to billions of people around the world. The 1st group out of the 21 planned launches to place 650 units in orbits, took off from the space centre in French Guiana. One Web founder Greg Wyler tweeted about the successful launch that went without a hitch.
