Rayudu’s retirement U-turn, says will definitely play IPL

Ambati Rayudu's decision to bid goodbye to white-ball cricket in the middle of the World Cup surprised everyone. The 33-year-old was on India’s standby list but was overlooked twice when Vijay Shankar and Shikhar Dhawan got injured. Rayudu, who currently plays in TNCA League for Grand Slams, now says he was keen to be a part of IPL with Chennai Super Kings and he hasn't taken a break from all white-ball cricket yet.
