PM Modi's new principal secretary is PK Mishra in big change at PMO

PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday elevated retired IAS officer Pramod Kumar Mishra as his Principal Secretary and appointed former cabinet secretary PK Sinha as Principal Advisor to the Prime Minister. Both the appointments will be in effect till the term ends or any further notice, whichever is earlier. Both the new officials hold a degree in economics. Mishra and Modi know each other for two decades.
