Philadelphia- the first US city to ban cashless stores; violations to cost $2000

Philadelphia passed a law that bans cashless stores & requires all businesses to accept cash payments. Few exceptions are parking garages, online & phone transactions, retailers with membership like Costco, and hotels, rental car business. Amazon Go stores that are cashierless may be exempted. Violators will be fined $2000. Cashless business is convenient & efficient, however, people with no bank accounts are excluded.
