Operation costs for US-bound flights likely to decline after Pakistan opens its airspace

Air India suffered a financial loss of over Rs 491 crore as it had to re-route its various international flight after Pakistan closed its airspace. With the Imran Khan government making a U-turn on the decision, Air India stated that operating costs for the one-way US and Europe bound flights are likely to decline by Rs.20 Lakh. Private airlines such as Spicejet, Indigo, and GoAir were also affected by the closed airspace.
