NCW seeks investigation against prof., who wrote about 'virgin brides'

Kanak Sarkar, Jadavpur University professor has been gaining fame from last few days but all for his "misogynistic and sexist" comments on women in a Facebook post. According to him, the bride's virginity is like a sealed bottle and for some of the men, a virgin bride is like an angel. For his comments, National Commission for Women has asked the West Bengal DGP to investigate and take necessary actions against him.
