NASA picks headquarters for Moon-Lander
A NASA facility in Alabama, Marshall Space Flight Center, which made the giant rocket for the Apollo program in the 1960s will have a major role to play in sending astronauts to the Moon's surface in 2024. A vehicle will land astronauts on the Moon for the first time since 1972. The White House is keen to send a man and a woman to the South Pole of the Moon in the next five years, under a program called Artemis.
