NASA calls India's Mission Shakti 'a terrible thing.' The A-SAT launched by India last week created nearly 400 pieces of orbital debris, endangering the International Space Station. NASA admin said about 60 pieces tracked, of which 24 are going above the apogee of the ISS. He added that its a terrible thing to create an event that sends debris & such activity isn't compatible with the future of human spaceflight.
