Mohammad Amir bids goodbye to Test cricket

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir left the cricketing world in shock on Friday announcing his retirement from Test cricket with immediate effect but has assured his commitment to shorter formats for Pakistan. He is hoping to play next year’s ICC T20 World Cup as well. Amir made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in Galle in 2009. He has played in 36 Tests for Pakistan, picking up 119 wickets at an average of 30.47.
