Mobile data packs : India cheapest, US & UK the priciest, says report

India provides the cheapest mobile data packs in the world whereas US & UK markets have been ranked costliest, reveals UK study. The study was of comparison of 1GB data prices; its 0.26 USD in India & 6.66 USD in the UK. US being expensive-12.37 USD for 1 GB data. The global average came in 8.53 GB for 1 GB on a comparison of 230 countries. The reason for this price difference was said to be complex.
