Maradona named coach of Argentine Superliga club

Diego Maradona has been announced as the coach of Argentine Superliga side Gimnasia. The former Argentina coach left his job at Mexican second-division club Dorados earlier in June due to persistent health issues after just nine months since taking charge. His new club, officially known as Gymnastics and Fencing, is right now at the bottom of Argentina’s 24-club Superliga with only one point from five matches.
