Making the holders pay tax was main objective: Jaitley on DeMo anniversary

Celebrating the second anniversary of demonetisation, Arun Jaitley came up to give a befitting reply to oppositions party demanding PM Modi's apology for his move. He said that demonetisation resulted in the formalisation of the economy and increased tax base as it was not focussed on the confiscation of cash but to bring it to the formal economy and make the holders pay tax. Jaitley took Facebook to mention impact of DeMo.
