Karnataka boy swims 2.5 km in floodwater to participate in Wrestling championship, bags silver
In what can be known as a heroic attempt, A Karnataka teenager from Mannur village swam 2.5 km in floodwater to participate in a wrestling championship and ended up bagging the silver medal in the event. 19-year-old Manohar Kadam, a class 12th student, had to catch a train but ended up swimming across the floodwater to make it on time for the event to meet up with his team. His determination is being lauded.
