Army chief General Bipin Rawat very categorically conveyed to the government that the Indian army was fully prepared to deal with any ground offensive by Pakistan and was willing to take the battle to the enemy territory, sources stated. It is also learnt that Rawat was willing to try various options, including an ariel raid to punish Pakistan for the Pulwama attack and was ready to face any hostility by the Pakistan army.
