India signs deal with Russia for S-400 missile, despite US sanction threats

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived India for a 19th India-Russia annual bilateral summit on Thursday. Today, India has signed a deal with Russia for 5 advanced S-400 missiles to become the world's 3rd country to have the long-range surface-to-air missile defence system. 8 pacts including cooperation in launching India's 1st manned space mission, nuclear energy and railways have been signed between the nations.
