India bag historic cycling gold

The Indian national anthem was heard for the first time at the Junior Track Cycling World Championships award event as Esow Alben, L Ronaldo Singh, Y Rojit Singh, and Jemsh Singh made it to the podium. The Indian boys’ sprint team made history winning India’s first gold at a world cycling event. In the final round, Australia led first 2 laps, but India had an astonishing 12.915 seconds in the final lap to take gold.
