Former Union minister MJ Akbar was alleged by multiple women that he sexually harassed them. Joyeeta Basu, an editor in a newspaper recorded her statement defending him. She said Akbar is a perfect gentleman and that she is shocked with allegations. She worked with him for years and never seen him doing something like this. In fact, she never heard anything bad about his behaviour from anyone when she worked with him.
