Hong Kong cricketers banned for life for fixing

Hong Kong cricketers Irfan Ahmed and Nadeem Ahmed have been banned by ICC’s anti-corruption unit from all form of cricket for life for match-fixing and their teammate Haseeb Amjad has been suspended for five years. The trio was provisionally suspended by world cricket’s governing body back in October after being charged for “fixing or contriving” inHong Kong’s World Cup qualifiers against Scotland and Canada in 2014.
