George Orwell gets an apology letter from British Council after 73 years

A British cultural exchange body admitted that it was wrong to turn down the writer's effort 73 years ago, but was firm on the criticism of his marmalade recipe. The British Council promotes international cultural relations & asked Orwell to write on British cuisine in 1946. But they had sent a rejection letter on his essay 'British Cookery'. His essay writing was excellent but they had disliked his orange marmalade recipe.
