Found guilty of contempt in Ericsson case, SC asks Anil Ambani to go jail or pay

The Supreme Court on Wednesday found Reliance Communications chairman Anil Ambani guilty of contempt over the non-payment of Rs 550 crore due owed to Swedish telecom giant Ericsson. The court asked him to pay Rs 453 cr to Ericsson within 4 weeks or else face 3 months of jail if orders not served. Senior advocate Dushyant Dave, representing Ericsson India earlier invoked Rafale deal to target Ambani during the hearing.
