Following footsteps, Akhilesh and Mayawati alliance confirmed

The long-awaited decision has arrived. Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Mayawati have announced the alliance in Uttar Pradesh. The announcement was made by Akhilesh and Mayawati during a joint press conference. BSP supremo said that in 1993, the then BSP chief Kanshi Ram and Mulayam Singh Yadav joined hands and won in UP. We are determined to follow in their footsteps."
