Federer beats John Isner to save Team Europe in Laver Cup

Roger Federer saved Team Europe from defeat in the Laver Cup after he won a tensed tie-break against John Isner claiming the match by 6-4, 7-6 (7/3). Team World now lead 11-10 ahead of Alexander Zverev’s match against Milos Raonic. Taylor Fritz had earlier put Team World on the verge of winning their first Laver Cup with a 7-5, 6-7 (3/7), 10-5 win over Dominic Thiem. Europe had won the 2018 edition 13-8 in Chicago.
