Congress MP Shashi Tharoor who is contesting for Thiruvananthapuram's LS Constituency was in a sticky situation when he visited a fish market, spoke to women-sellers & posted pictures of his visit. His recent tweet of him being 'squeamishly vegetarian' led to a political row & allegations that he insulted the fishermen community. He was backlashed for referring to a caste-based preference for vegetarians & demanded an apology.
