CJI corrects mistake by appointing senior judge of Gujarat HC as CJ

CJI Ranjan Gogoi has admitted that he made mistake by appointing Justice A S Dave as Acting CJ of Gujarat HC on Friday. But mistakes can happen he said and corrected it by appointing Justice A A Kureshi, as the Acting Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court till November 14. The decision came after the protest by the GHAA that passed a resolution against Justice Kureshi’s transfer to Bombay HC, who went on strike on Friday.
