CBSE issues clarification on caste-based question asked on school exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification on the issue of a caste-based question asked in a school examination. The CBSE spokesperson confirmed that the board did not set the question which drew ire of DMK chief MK Stalin. The question arose in a class 6 exam paper in the Kendra Vidyalayas. The paper also had questions on the stereotyping of Muslims as well and had Stalin as a main attraction.
