BSF deployed back in Srinagar after 14 years; in wake of Pulwama attack

In the wake of Pulwama terror attacks, the BSF was re-deployed in Srinagar after 14 years. The home ministry said that they moved 100 additional companies of paramilitary troops to Jammu & Kashmir, including 35 from the BSF, 45 companies of the CRPF and 10 companies of the ITBP & SSB each. This deployment came amidst the Indo-Pak tensions that surged up after the Pulwama terror attack by JeM that claimed lives.
