Bangladesh welcomes Sheikh Hasina as PM for 3rd time

For the third time, Bangladesh welcomes Sheikh Hasina as the Prime Minister of the nation. The elections were held on Sunday when she emerged as a winner. Though the opposition has refused to go with the results and demands fresh voting. Out of 298 seats, Hasina’s Awami League won 287 seats. The remaining 7 seats were bagged by Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Meanwhile, EC is investigating over claims of vote rigging.
