Anupam Kher resigns as FTII chairman due to international projects

On Wednesday, Anupam Kher announced that he is resigning as the chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India. He took the decision due to his commitments to an international TV show for which he has to be in the US for 9 months. It was his honour to be the chairman of such a prestigious institution, he said. He sent his resignation to Minister of Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
