Amid storms, helicopters rescue Norway cruise ship passengers

The rescue workers off Norway's western coast evacuated 1300 passengers & crew from a disabled cruise ship by helicopters & boats, as heavy waves lashed at the ship tossing it side to side & high winds battered the operation. The cruise ship Viking Sky issued a mayday call due to bad weather conditions & engine troubles that caused it to drift towards the rocky shore. Norwegian media reported winds up to 43mph & waves over 26 feet.
