Richard Overton was America's longest living World War II veteran. He died on Thursday at the age of 112. He was admitted to the hospital earlier this month and died after suffering pneumonia, his cousin Volma Overton Jr told. On his 111th birthday, the street where lived was renamed to 'Richard Overton Avenue'. He worked for his nation in the US army from 1942 to 1945 in the Pacific. He was married twice but had no kids.
