After public outrage, Ranchi teen won't have to distribute Qurans: Judge

19-year-old Richa Bharti, who was arrested for posting 'objectional communal post,' won't have to distribute Qurans after the public was outraged by the Ranchi court's decision. As protests erupted, the judge dropped the bail conditions as she will now have to pay a sum of Rs. 7,000 with two sureties of a like amount. However, many have offered to pay her legal fees if Richa chooses to appeal to a higher court.
