Residents within two northern Russian cities are rushing to purchase iodine that is used to reduce the effects of radiation exposure after a mysterious blast occurred on a nearby military testing site. The Ministry of defence has given few details of the blast, stating two people were killed, and an explosion injured six. Although the ministry stated no harmful chemicals were released, the radiations levels had spiked up.
