More than 500 million people are living in areas affected by erosion linked to climate change, the United Nations warned. Urging all countries to go for sustainable land usage to help limit greenhouse gas emissions, experts highlighted how the rise in global temperatures increases pressure on fertile soil, which will affect food security. Reports also reveal that around 820 million people are undernourished around the world.
