Daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Nehru Gandhi was the first and the only Prime Minister of India. Today is her 34th death anniversary. On January 24, 1966, she was sworn in as the PM of India. She was assassinated by her 2 bodyguards, Beant Singh and Satwant Singh. During her term, she nationalised 14 banks. On this day Congress prez, Rahul Gandhi along with Sonia Gandhi, PM Modi and others have paid tribute to her.
