To control country’s CAD, government has announced steps

In an economy review meeting, held on Friday, the govt has announced 5 major steps to control country’s current account deficit. It will take important steps to cut down the non-essential imports and increase exports like removing restrictions on masala bond. On Saturday, it will critically review projects launched by NDA. PMO has asked for reports on completed, commissioned and under-implementation projects.
