Instead of selling, thieves of Nizam’s Gold Tiffin caught eating in it: Police

On September 2, 2 thieves stole gold Tiffin, a cup studded with rubies, diamonds and emeralds, a saucer and a spoon belonged to the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad from the museum at Purani Haveli. The 2 were living in a luxury hotel in Mumbai and were caught eating in the stolen Tiffin, said the police. The stolen stuff has been recovered and the accused are in police custody. Poor security of the museum is now being questioned.
