World's longest non-stop flight From New York landed in Sydney after nearly 20 hours in the air
Australian airline Qantas tested the longest non-stop commercial passenger flight after it safely landed in Sydney at 7:43 a.m. local time on Sunday morning after being departed from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on Friday. The flight with 49 people on board took 19 hours and 16 minutes to cover 16,200-km (10,066-mile) route. Next Month Qantas plans to test a nonstop flight from London to Sydney.
