Study shows Bihar faces most train delays

According to a study conducted by RailYatri portal, using crowdsourcing, Bihar tops in the nation for the most delayed trains. There has been 30% increase in the delays over the last 3 years in the state. Assam, Punjab and Goa are the other states with most delays. Gujarat has emerged as the state with least train delays with an average delay of 24 min. The national train delay index for 2017 is estimated to be 53 min.
