Soon check-in using Aadhaar at Bengaluru airport

Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport is all set to become first Aadhaar-enabled airport in the country by Dec 2018. In the new system, biometric identification will replace separate screening at every checkpoint, drastically reducing the time needed for the whole process. Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has given its go-ahead to the plan after a two-month-long pilot project in February.
