Parliamentary panel asks for 5 years before privatizing Air India
A parliamentary panel is going to tell the government to not to privatize Air India and instead to give it 5 years to pay off the debts and revive the services. It has added that Air India has shown improvement in various parameters and it might not be appropriate for the government to disinvest in the organization. Air India was under a debt of Rs. 48,877 crore debts at the end of March 2017.
