Over 29 lakh tourists visit Statue of Unity in a year: SSNNL

According to the release from SSNNL, more than 29 lakh tourists have visited the Statue of Unity since inauguration by PM Modi on Oct 31, 2018. As per official figures, 29,32,220 tourists visited the statue located in the Kevadia colony between Nov 1 & 10,2019. The total income generated by now is Rs 80.65 crore. It also said that over 2.9 lakh tourists visited the spot during Diwali vacations over the last 10 days.
