The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is planning to increase the duration each train halts at a station to ensure social distancing on-board trains, as per the corporation’s tentative Standard Operating Procedure for the resumption of Metro services in the national capital. Earlier, a train would stop at each station for around 30 seconds, and slightly longer at interchange stations. This time will now be increased by 30 seconds.
