Lack of rain and severe drought conditions has revealed a 3400-year-old ancient palace from the Iraqi reservoir. The ruins were found in the Mosul dam reservoir on the banks of Tigris river, and soon a team carried out an archaeological dig. The site got flooded when the Mosul dam was built. The team discovered wall paintings in Kemune, which is only the 2nd site where Mittani period has been found.
