India’s longest motorable suspension bridge comes over Tehri lake in Tehri Garhwal

India's longest single-lane motorable suspension bridge in Tehri Garhwal district was inaugurated by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on the occasion of the state's 21st foundation day on Sunday. The 725-metre long Dobra-Chanti suspension bridge has been built over the Tehri lake with a cost of Rs. 2.95 crore. The bridge built in 14 years will connect Pratap Nagar town with Tehri Garhwal district.
