Indian nationals visiting Nepal will now have to show their ID cards

Amid the worsening ties between India and Nepal, Kathmandu has now made it mandatory for Indian nationals travelling to the Himalayan country to show their identity cards. The country's authorities cited novel coronavirus as reason behind the new directive. Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa made the announcement regarding the directive and said that Nepal will now be able to make better plans to deal with the deadly pandemic.
