India’s Domestic Air Passenger market crosses 100 million
According to Directorate General of Civil aviation, India’s domestic air passengers crossed 100 million for the first time in 2017. During the month of December, domestic air passengers grew by 17.69% with various Indian carriers. All the carriers flew with more than 80% of their seats full but Jet Airways had performed worst in terms of operating flights on time while Indigo performed best in terms of passenger carriage.
