In a first, Indian Railways achieves 100% punctuality as all 201 trains run on time

For the first time in the history of Indian Railways, all trains achieved 100% punctuality on July 1. Indian Railways said all its 201 trains were on time and operated without any delay. According to the railways, the previous best was 99.54% on June 23 when only one train was delayed. Railways is planning to allow private entities to operate passenger trains on its network by inviting requests for qualifications for participation.
