First state-of-the-art air-conditioned train dispatched to Nagpur

With the stainless steel-bodied mainline electrical multiple units (MEMU) features 3-phase onboard electrics and modular toilets, The first state-of-the-art air-conditioned commuter train has been dispatched by Railways to Nagpur. MEMU train with carrying capacity up to 2,402 passengers was rolled out on June 29 by the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai with an aim to replace the existing passenger trains in Nagpur.
