FASTag mandatory after Dec 1- here's all you need to know about it

The Ministry of Road, Transport and Highway made FASTag mandatory for vehicles starting Dec 1, 2019. FASTag is a hassle-free electronic way of collecting tolls on highways and is a part of the NETC program. People not using FASTag will have to pay double the toll amount. This FASTag electronically transacts money form your account & thereby eliminates traffic at toll plazas. It works on the RFID technology.
